Mono-material packaging uses one principal material family rather than combining several different material families throughout the structure.
However, mono-material does not automatically mean recyclable everywhere. The complete bag—including inks, coatings, adhesives, zippers, valves and other components—must be considered alongside local collection and recycling systems.
